SELAVU RASAM

Selavau rasam is authentic recipe prepared as a home medicine for cold. As told in my previous rasam post, the taste differs from one rasam to other though the ingredients are same. This rasam is prepared without tamarind as we generally do not add tamarind for fever and cold. I learnt this version of selavu rasam from my sister and aunty.

It tastes good and is very healthy. Horse gram has lots of medicinal value. Adding more garlic to rasam enhances the taste which I dint know till recent past.
