BUTTER BISCUITS RECIPE - A good Tea Time snack.These are delicious biscuits that are made without any baking soda/baking powder.
I searched for the biscuits and cookies in many websites.I wanted to prepare them without any egg.I had adjusted the quantity of ingredients as per our taste.I prepared the cookies without any blender just mixing With a spatula.It will be more easier if you do with electric mixer.This recipe will be with mild sweet.Soft,Crunchy biscuits perfect for evening tea.
1.Cream together Butter and Sugar untill flufffy.
2.Add All purpose Flour,Vanilla Essence,Salt to the creamed butter.Mix well till nicely combined.This should be soft like chapathi dough.
3.Place the dough in a plastic wrap and form a log.Wrap the log using the plastic cover.Place the log in the freezer for not more than 15 mins.This is to set the dough so that it will be easy to cut the log into small cookies. Do not freeze it.
4.Preheat the oven for 350 F.
5.After 15 mins remove the log from the freezer and cut into small cookies about 1 inch thickness.
6.Place the cookies in the cookie tray at about 1 inch distance.Bake in the oven for about 25 mins.
7.At around 12 mins rotate the tray for even cooking.
8.Again after 12 mins check if the cookie is ready.When the cookie is browned at the bottom remove from the oven.**
9.Place the cookies in the cooling wrack and allow it to cool for 15 mins.
10.Cook 'n' Enjoy

Tip:
1.** When the cookie starts to brown from the bottom, have a close watch and then remove once the cookie is fully cooked.Do not let it burn as cookie will burn in few seconds.
2.If the dough is too dry they suggest to add little milk, I suggest to add1 tbl spn of melted butter and mix well After all it is a butter Biscuit :)
