MOIST AND FLUFFY VANILLA CAKE
The below is a picture of a very moist and very fluffy 10” vanilla cake along with orange cake.The given recipe can make two 8”inch cakes that can be layered.For a 2 layer 10” cake shown below in picture just double the recipe.This recipe is adapted from John’s blog.

Ingredients

All purpose flour Corn flour Curd Milk Butter Sugar Salt Baking powder Baking soda Vanilla extract Egg whites |
3/4 cup 1 cup 1/2 tsp 1 tsp 1/4 tsp 1tbl spn 3 |
Method:
Grease 2 8 inch pan and line parchment paper.Preheat oven to 340 f
1. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
2.Add all the wet ingredients and beat together.
3.Sift all the dry ingredients together.
4.Add the dry ingredients cup by cup and mix with wet wet ingredients just until incorporated.
5. Do not overmix the dry ingredients.
6.Transfer the batter to the greased pans not more than 1/3 rd full
7.Bake for around 25 to 30 mins or until the toothpick inserted in center comes clean.
8.Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.
9. I used a simple syrup to moisten up the cake a bit by boiling sugar and water with orange peal.
